Joining our team in January is Gillad Lyn. Gillad has 5+ years of experience working at The Fish Counter and is retuning as the manager of The Fish Counter.

Arman is currently the Head Manager of The Fish Counter, he has plans to open and run stores in North Vancouver, Burnaby, Langley and maybe the USA!

Zachary has a deep passion for fish and cooking. He plans to go to Japan, India and France to learn different skills and recipes to open up his own restaurant one day.

Fish n Chip fry cook since day 1. Ian started his fry cooking career when he was 19 years old. Working at the windjammer, go fish and now The Fish Counter.

Mike

Mike

Co Founder; Mike McDermid was a marine biologist before starting The Fish Counter with years of experience in place he was able to find the best suppliers and high quality fish.

Rob

Rob

CO-Founder; Robert Clark started The Fish Counter in 2013 with his partner Mike McDermid. With over 40 years of experience in the sustainable industry and a recipient of the Order of Canada, The Fish Counter has all that knowledge and effort put into one store.
